Bio
I am Senior Lecturer (Associate Professor in American currency) in Social Statistics at the University of Manchester. My theoretical research is currently focused on causal inference (evaluation of policies, interventions and experiments -a.k.a. PIE). My applied statistical/econometric work has been wide ranging, including work on retirement and old age, development of cognitive skills early in life, supply of health services in rural China, and domestic violence.
My work has been published in top journals in Economics, Statistics and Health, including Journal of Political Economy, Journal of the Royal Statistical Society (Series A) and Health Affairs among many others.
